WHY in the Parks
WHY Outreach, the nonprofit arm of West Hartford Yoga, is proud to offer WHY in the Parks thanks to generous grant support from The West Hartford Greater Together Community Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.
Join our skilled WHY instructors for some outdoor bliss while you improve your health, increase your energy, and relax among fellow yogis. Each all-levels class will blend yoga postures, breath work, and meditation with a beautiful setting.

Daniel Salazar, Jr., Steve Laschever, and Axcénted DJ provided amazing music and West Hartford Yoga graciously hosted the event. Breck Macnab and Patty Cousins for documented the evening. Photos >>

Feed Your Spirit: A yoga fundraiser
The evening began with several of our WHY Outreach teachers sharing their stories and was followed by a powerful and energizing class led by Barbara Ruzansky. Each movement was accompanied perfectly by Kevin Paris' music. Many thanks to everyone who joined us and helped to feed the spirits of those less fortunate. Photos >>

Full Moon Madness fundraiser
On Saturday, April 28, we hosted our second full moon fundraiser at West Hartford Yoga. The joyful, quirky yoga class was led by WHY's Barbara Ruzansky and featured music by Hands On Drumming. The dimly-lit room was brightened by glow sticks, a full-moon projection, and the overall positive energy from every participant. It's the most fun yoga costume party around! Photos >>
